The Katherine “Kaci” Daniel 4-H Endowed Fund
Katherine "Kaci" Daniel
Honoring Kaci Daniel's Legacy with Virginia 4-H
"4-H has my heart; it made me who I am and I want that to continue in perpetuity so that all kids have the opportunities that I did."
Kaci Daniel, Senior Extension Agent, 4-H in Orange County, committed her life to investing in tomorrow by supporting youth through 4-H. Kaci was a 4-H member in Madison County, was tapped as a Virginia 4-H All Star in 1996, graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001, and spent her career as a 4-H agent. In addition to the many youth whose lives she enriched as an agent, Kaci consistently mentored other agents during her tenure.
Kaci’s friends chose to honor her legacy by creating The Katherine “Kaci” Daniel 4-H Endowed Fund. This fund is an endowment, which will provide support in Kaci’s name forever. Income from the fund will be used to provide opportunities to young people through 4-H in Madison and Orange Counties.
When she learned of this effort, Kaci said, “I'm so honored and humbled by the efforts for an endowment in my honor... 4-H has my heart; it made me who I am and I want that to continue in perpetuity so that all kids have the opportunities that I did.”
